The CompanyA well-established business based in Bankstown, that operates Australia wide is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer for an immediate 3-month contract. Reporting into a small and supportive finance team, you'll step into a busy, high-volume environment and hit the ground running from day one.
The role is primarily Accounts Receivable with some Accounts Payable support, working 5 days per week on-site in Bankstown.
What you'll be doing - Managing a high-volume accounts receivable ledger
- Collections activity including outbound calls and email follow-ups
- Receipts posting and payment processing in an accounting system
- Preparing weekly banking and processing payments
- Month-end AR reconciliation and batch posting
- AP support including supplier invoice processing and weekly payment runs
What we're looking for - Proven experience in a high-volume AR/AP role
Confident communicator comfortable managing a busy collections cycle - Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Experience with month-end processes and reconciliations
- Available immediately and able to commit to a 3-month engagement
