Job Description

The Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Shared Services and CFO, you will take ownership of a high-performing Credit Control function. Leading a team of ten skilled professionals across varying levels of seniority, you will shape the strategic direction of the department while ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading, mentoring and developing a large credit team with a focus on capability building and performance.
• Driving improvements in customer debt management and overall credit outcomes.
• Identifying, designing and implementing process and system enhancements.
• Championing a customer-centric collections approach in partnership with the sales team.
• Embedding succession planning and structured development across the team.
• Fostering an inclusive, positive and collaborative working culture.
• Playing an active role in strategic discussions with senior management and the executive team.

About You:
• Recent and proven experience leading a large credit function.
• A strong track record in people leadership and team development.
• Demonstrated success delivering process improvements, automation and operational uplift.
• The ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives
• A natural ability to motivate, influence and elevate a high-performing team.
