The RoleAbout the Role This is a hands-on, full-function Accounts Receivable role where you’ll manage a busy AR ledger and support the Finance Manager with reporting and reconciliations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely collections and accurate records, while also using your strong Excel skills for debtor analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities: - Full function Accounts Receivable – invoicing, receipting, allocations, and follow-up
- Manage a high volume of transactions and customer accounts
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date debtor ledgers
- Monitor overdue accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare AR reports using Excel
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with a customer-first approach
- Support month-end processes and ad hoc finance tasks as required
What We're Looking For: - 2+ years of experience in a similar high-volume Accounts Receivable role
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in a small to medium business environment preferred
- Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
