The role: This is a fantastic opportunity for either a junior or a seasoned AR officer with all round receivables experience to join a reputable company in the heart of the CBD. Reporting to the AR Team Lead you will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of tasks across the month-end and traditional transactional duties.
This will include but not be limited to;
- Ownership of daily bank account reconciliations of assigned ledgers
- Manage the Aged Debt through standard collection activities
- Accurately prepare billings, returns and refunds weekly
- Build relationships internally and externally to keep customer satisfaction high whilst maintaining a low balance on the overdue amounts
- Produce month end TB for Debtors, review and reconcile to GL on a monthly basis;
- Collaborate and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and return of billing documents or resolving discrepancies preventing these activities from being performed.
- Where necessary, process Credits or Adjustments to facilitate invoicing and payment
The candidate: We are looking for a candidate with the ability to be a quick learner and organized. This is a fast-paced, dynamic sector and requires a quick learner and strong communicator.
- Experience handling major accounts from an AR/Credit perspective
- Exceptional communication skills
- Be a team player who exhibits flexibility to complete different tasks and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work
- Strong organizational skills

- Ideally you will be adaptable to an evolving and growing team and be happy to get involved with projects and your day-to-day responsibilities
