Job Description
We're partnering with an established, high-volume business based out west to find a Collections Officer to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis.
About the role: This is a full-function collections position within a small, close-knit finance team. You'll manage a high-volume, low-value ledger, think fast transaction turnover rather than complex, high-risk debt recovery, handling customer statements, rebilling, and query resolution alongside your core collections duties. The business is still evolving its finance systems and processes, so you'll have genuine opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape how things are done, rather than stepping into a rigid, unchangeable process.
What you'll be doing: - Managing collections across a high-volume customer ledger
- Preparing and issuing customer statements and credit rebilling
- Liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve account queries
- Supporting the broader finance function as needed
- Some outbound calling as part of the collections cycle
What we're looking for: - Minimum 3 years' experience in credit control or collections
- High energy and adaptability, comfortable in a fast-paced environment where processes are still maturing
- A genuine interest in growing your career further within finance/accounting
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
What's on offer: - $80,000–$85,000 + Super
