Job Description
You are an experienced finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and a commercial mindset. You have experience operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment and are confident managing complex financial operations across multiple entities.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior finance, financial accounting, finance manager, or financial controller role.
- Demonstrated experience within a trading, commodities trading, agribusiness, manufacturing, wholesale, FMCG, or other complex commercial environment.
- Experience working in a commodities trading or trading organisation, with an understanding of revenue recognition, margin analysis, inventory management, working capital, and commercial decision-making.
- Strong experience managing financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation compliance.
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Experience within a commodities trading environment or another complex, multi-entity commercial business will be highly regarded, along with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights that support growth, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
