Financial Controller - Private Multinational Investment Group

Job Description

A high-growth, multi-entity Investment Group is looking for a technically strong, hands-on Finance Controller to take ownership of the core finance function and partner closely with an experienced CFO.
This is a broad, high-impact role suited to a strong technical financial professional who enjoys running an efficient, well-controlled finance function while operating in a lean, high-performance environment.
You will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple international entities, ensuring reporting, controls, compliance and month-end processes are delivered accurately and on time.

The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, responsibilities include:
  • Owning the day-to-day financial accounting across multiple entities
  • Managing month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
  • Preparing reconciliations, reporting packs and supporting schedules
  • Maintaining general ledger integrity and strong financial controls
  • Supporting statutory reporting, external audits and tax compliance
  • Overseeing AP, AR, payroll and cash management processes
  • Driving process improvement and finance systems enhancements
  • Partnering with senior leadership on reporting, analysis and ad hoc projects
About You You are a technically strong Financial Controller or Finance Manager who enjoys accountability and taking ownership.
You will likely have:
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
  • Experience working across multi-entity structures
  • Excellent month-end and financial control capability
  • A hands-on, detail-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Experience within financial services, investment management or complex corporate environments will be highly regarded
