Group Finance Manager

Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join a large, high-performing organisation with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand.

This role sits within the Group Finance function, supporting consolidated reporting and analysis across multiple business units following a recent acquisition.

About the Role
  
Reporting to the GM Finance, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful group-level financial reporting and analysis.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, divisional finance teams, and the broader corporate office to ensure smooth month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  
This is a 6-month contract offering exposure to complex group consolidations and performance reporting in a dynamic corporate environment.
    
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consolidated financial and management reports
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple divisions
  • Oversee the preparation of business performance reports
  • Review monthly P&L and Balance sheet reporting
  • Review reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Provide analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making at group level
  • Lead the year end and statutory reporting process
  • Effectively engage with stakeholders and divisional finance teams
  • Lead and engage an established, high performing team
  • Assist with process improvements and the rollout of new reporting initiatives  
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong background in corporate or group-level financial reporting
  • Experience working in large, complex organisations (ASX or multinational preferred)
  • Proficient in ERP and reporting tools such as SAP, BW, BPC, and TM1 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and mentoring a high-performing team
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the business
The Offer
  • $140K - $160K + Super 
  • 6-month contract, immediate start
  • Hybrid working environment (3 days in the office)
