Group Financial Controller

Senior & Executive

The Role

Reporting to the CFO
  • Lead and mentor multi-site teams
  • Be responsible for delivering consistent, consolidated financial reporting across (currently) 6 group companies.
  • Enable centralisation of AP/AR and group reporting into a shared service model
  • Overseeing ERP and Payroll system improvement projects, to enhance reporting processes & increase efficiencies.
  • Use your commercial acumen to drive business growth and increase profitability. 
Background & Experience
 
  • CA/CPA, ideally Big 4 or top‑tier CA training
  • Proven experience as Group FC / Head of Finance in: Private equity‑backed or highly leveraged multi‑entity environments.
  • Strong track record of: Consolidation across multiple ERPs 
  • Designing and implementing group reporting frameworks
  • Leading process standardisation and centralisation (AP/AR, reporting)
  • Sector: FMCG / food manufacturing exposure is highly desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable with multi‑site, operationally complex businesses
  • Passion for improving processes and increasing efficiencies
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
Skills & Attributes
  
  • Hands‑on and "in the weeds", but also "big picture" strategic
  • Strong systems literacy: Able to challenge the assumptions and an open mind to different solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management: Can work with PE investors, CEO, and site‑based teams
  • Able to challenge and influence
  • Change management mindset: Understands how to bring legacy / owner‑run businesses through to a group corporatised model
Remuneration

$200,000 - $220,000 + Super + Bonus (Hybrid Working)
