HR Services Supervisor

Job Description

The company: We have partnered with a global wholesale and distribution company, based in western Sydney, with an impressive year on year growth history. They have recently acquired a competitor and are currently amalgamating Due to increase in headcount a newly created HR Services Supervisor position is now available.

The role:
This role works closely with Payroll and will be involved in payroll projects. 
The HR team are responsible with tasks that issue letters of offer to in line with internal approvals, and the administration of the Connx (HR system) and processes to support the business.
  • Letters of Offer (LOO): Manage LOO process in ConnX, including approvals in line with requisitions, maintaining and updating templates, and ensuring correct templates are used. Check and calculate award rates to ensure compliance with minimum wages
  • Payroll: Assist with any payroll projects and work along side the payroll team
  • Reporting: Generate weekly ConnX hires/changes/terminations report for Internal Audit, prepare and distribute onboarding and WHS termination reports, and manage WGEA reporting in line with legislative requirements (including HR tracker)
  • ConnX maintenance: Maintain system configuration (workflows, org structures, departments), complete bulk contract changes, liaise with ConnX support on licences and system issues, and manage the internal issue tracker
  • HR administration: Maintain HR folder structures, oversee award interpretation and updates, ensure HR processes are documented and uploaded to SharePoint, and distribute monthly Mental Health Training notifications
  • Team coordination: Manage onboarding logistics (FOB, IT access), organise team/HR meetings, and oversee 3 HR Analysts, ensuring workload distribution and SLA adherence
  • WGEA reporting: Prepare and manage WGEA data via ConnX and Micropay, complete classifications for new hires, conduct quarterly checks, and manage the annual submission

  • Problem-solver, identifying problems and proposing solutions, including finding ways to work smarter, not harder
  • Customer service orientation, building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint user, must be able to do mail merge and Look ups
