Junior Accountant

The role: An opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant or Junior Accountant with experiences across, AP, AR and month end is now available to join a growing organization and work in a fun and vibrant culture. This role has the potential to develop to grow through the ranks and work on projects to boost your skillset and profile.

What You’ll Do:   
  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices and claims, manage reimbursements, reconcile credit cards, generate payments, and prepare purchase reports.
  • Accounts Receivable: Process sales invoices, validate rebate claims, update customer pricing, and prepare reports.
  • Month-End: Assist with bank reconciliations, accruals, transaction processing, and month-end close and internal audits.
  • Efficiency & Improvement: Automate processes, maintain digital records, and identify areas for operational improvement.

About You:
  • Strong understanding of accounting with excellent analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, with CA or CPA commenced or planned.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of the organization.
