Appreciating Payroll has partnered with a well-known Australian brand that is currently undergoing rapid growth across eastern Australia. With VC backing, the business will quadruple in size over the next two years, taking it's employee headcount above 2,000.
Due to several upcoming project requirements, we are looking for a Payroll Consultant to step in and assist where needed over the next 6 - 9 months.
Projects will include:
- Working with stakeholders to gather payroll data from the previous 5 years.
- Analysing historical payroll data against the relevant award to ensure accuracy of payments.
- Prepare audit results ready for an external party to fully reconcile/ remediate.
- Review current processes and systems for any compliance risks.
- Make recommendations to ensure payroll best practices as the business grows.
- Audit current systems to ensure payroll data is accurate.
- Other associated mini-projects around the same topics.
The assignment will run for a minimum of 6 months, probably longer. You will be required to work from the Homebush area office Mon - Wed, with Thurs & Friday from home. An hourly rate of circa $70 - $75 p/h + Super is on offer to the successful candidate.
