Job Description
Are you a payroll compliance expert with strong UKG experience? Do you enjoy interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements, improving payroll systems and ensuring employees are paid accurately every time?
Our client, a leading organisation in the healthcare sector, is seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Compliance Lead to take ownership of payroll compliance, system configuration and pay rule governance across a large, complex payroll environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Translate compliance requirements into payroll system rules and configurations.
- Lead payroll testing, UAT and system enhancements.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Employee Relations and system vendors to deliver compliant payroll outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems.
About you:
- Strong experience interpreting Australian Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Previous experience with testing UKG (Essential).
- Excellent understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
- Experience with payroll system configuration, testing, and implementations.
- A collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
A salary up to $160,000 + Super is on offer to the successful candidate. Whilst the preference is to hire a candidate based in Melbourne, the role is open to 100% remote Australian-based applicants also (not for overseas applicants).
