Working across enterprise platforms, finance systems, and modern cloud technologies, you will help design and implement scalable data solutions that unlock automation, improve decision-making, and enable intelligent operational outcomes.

The Role Reporting into a broader transformation and data function, this role will partner closely with Finance, Technology, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver modern data engineering and automation solutions across critical business processes.
You will be responsible for designing and building robust data pipelines, integrating enterprise systems, improving data quality and controls, and delivering scalable automation capabilities across a modern Microsoft data ecosystem.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys operating in complex environments, can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and is excited by the opportunity to influence large-scale transformation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and integrations across enterprise platforms
- Develop automation frameworks and reusable engineering patterns to support long-term transformation objectives
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver process automation initiatives across core operational and finance workflows
- Build and maintain curated datasets, semantic models, and reporting foundations that support enterprise analytics and AI capability
- Implement monitoring, reconciliation, observability, and data quality controls to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Contribute to future-state architecture and integration standards across the broader technology landscape
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and platform owners to manage system dependencies and releases
- Support uplift in engineering capability through documentation, knowledge sharing, and best-practice delivery standards
About You You are a technically strong Senior Data Engineer with proven experience delivering enterprise-grade data and integration solutions in complex environments.
You will bring - Strong experience designing and delivering modern data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise integrations
- Advanced SQL capability and strong understanding of data modelling and warehousing concepts
- Experience working within Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric environments
- Exposure to enterprise ERP and finance-related data environments
- Strong understanding of automation, reconciliation, monitoring, and operational support practices
- Experience working across APIs, messaging, and multiple enterprise applications
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- A pragmatic, outcomes-focused mindset with a genuine sense of ownership
