Job Description
Exiting opportunity to join an established tax team in a large multi-faceted business. Your role will see you provide tax assistance, support and advice to the Senior Tax Manager, finance team and the wider business.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation and review of all tax compliance obligations which include income tax, withholding tax, GST, Payroll Tax, Superannuation and FBT.
Assistance and participation with various tax and finance projects and general process improvement opportunities.
Tax compliance (Income Tax, FBT, GST, WHT, R&D & Employment Taxes);
· Tax financial accounting reporting obligations (half and full year);
· Tax governance and tax risk framework reporting to internal and external
stakeholders;
· Assisting with tax forecasting;
· Assist with the tax reviews and audits, as required;
· Business partnering by providing tax advice, support and assistance to the various business units in the group.
To be considered you will have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in public practice tax accounting
CPA or CA qualification
Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication skills for client interaction
