About the RoleAs a Senior Tax Analyst you will play a critical role in ensuring financial operations are streamlined and compliant with all tax regulations.
You will also provide support to the wider Finance function and Business in relation to all Taxation matters as well as lead process improvement projects within the Tax function.
Key Responsibilities - Responsible for all tax compliance obligations for both Australia and New Zealand
- Preparation of income tax returns
- Provide advice to business stakeholders on GST and FBT matters
- GST, FBT, Withholding tax and FTC reporting
- Support with statutory tax reporting, budgeting and forecasting obligations
- Conduct reviews of business and system processes and make process improvement recommendations.
- Assist with the update and implementation of changes to the Tax Corporate Governance Framework
Skills and Experience Required - CA / CPA Qualified
- 4+ years tax experience – Big 4, business services or corporate
- Demonstrated Australian tax technical ability, exposure to complex corporates beneficial
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiencies
